Come sip wine with Santa Barbara County’s expert viticulturist, Jeff Newton, in a lovely urban vineyard setting. Learn more about the grape growing process and how it directly affects your wine. Only two miles from downtown Santa Barbara, we will visit a unique backyard property with sixty professionally managed vines. This hour-long experience includes a half-glass taste, a bit of bread/cheese, and a bottle of Syrah to take home. The La Quinta by Wyndham Santa Barbara, located in downtown on State Street, offers a complimentary Hot Breakfast daily. Sideways Inspired Wine Tour
This tour will visit sites featured in the movie Sideways and is one of our premium tours. Always Private! You will visit three wineries featured in the film. Your guide will provide you with a fun list of trivia as you follow the Sideways path through wine country. This tour allows time to lunch at the Wine Merchant where Jack, Stephanie, Miles and Maya had their first double date. You will even have a chance to stop at the Ostrich Farm where Jack was chased!
Hike Santa Barbara Foothills
Up to 10 guests can enjoy a beautiful mountain trail in Santa Barbara that leads to sweeping ocean and island views. Our pace can be leisurely or athletic. Give us a call to decide which type of hike will be best for you. This hike lasts approximately three hours and includes transportation from anywhere in Santa Barbara.
Ocean Kayak Tour
Captain Jacks Harbor Kayak tour tour is the perfect introduction to kayaking and is fun for the entire family. Your tour starts at the boat launch, then winds through the harbor, under Stearns’ Wharf, and out to the one mile buoy. Chances are good the locals (sea lions) will show up to greet you.
Horseback Riding and Wine Tasting Tour
This tour includes an hour and a half horseback ride either on the beach, along a mountain trail or up to the ridge-line where you will enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean and the Channel Islands. You will enjoy tastings at two wine tasting venues in the city of Santa Barbara or at two vineyards in the Santa Ynez Valley. Lunch is not included in the price.
Beach or Trail Horseback Riding Tours
Enjoy the thrill of a glorious hour and a half guided Santa Barbara horseback ride. You can choose to ride our coastal estate trail with glimpses of the Pacific and sweeping views of the Santa Ynez Mountains or ride on a pristine sandy beach. Canyon Horseback Riding Tours

Whale Watching, Sunset and Coastal Cruises
Whale watching and three types of public cruises are offered on a 50’ Catamaran which offers 1400 square feet of deck space: A Sunset Cruise (two hours), a Coastal Cruise (two hours), and a Waterfront Cruise (one hour).
Enjoy beautiful views of the coast and the channel islands.
