This ranch is located
in the foothills of Santa Barbara and offers a variety
of activities for both locals and visitors to the
area. Wonderful views of the islands and lower foothills
exist from many locations on the 90 acre ranch, perfect
for stargazing and watching the sun rise or set! There
are nice hiking trails all over the property to explore.
For the more adventurous, there is a hike to the creek,
where you will find a waterfall and deep swimming
hole.
A 20 minute drive will
have you in downtown Santa Barbara which offers the
visitor fine dining and world class tourism activities.
With both traditional (Mountain
Guest House, Peachtree House)
and rustic (The Big Yurt, Lalu
Yurt) accommodations, this is truly a unique,
one of a kind experience.
A deposit is due to
hold your reservation. Check In after 2 p.m.; Check
Out by 11 a.m. No Smoking inside.

Mountain Guest House
|
The house has one large bedroom with
sitting area and master bathroom. The bedroom looks
out onto a bricked in courtyard with firepit and bbq
area. This area is perfect for hanging out, or entertaining.
Front porch has amazing views and little sitting areas.
Fun, bright colors on the walls make for a fun getaway.
Rental Includes:

local trees
- Large patio with fire pit
- Small patio great for tea or
reading

This rustic Swedish summer cabin is
a quaint, one room cabin built into the mountain side.
The cabin is completely private and
quiet. Surrounded by fruit trees, and a nice view
of the ocean.

- Private, outdoor shower under
the deck
- Exterior smell free composting

The Big Yurt
|
Stay in a large thirty-foot yurt (700
square feet) nestled in the mountains, overlooking
Santa Barbara and the ocean. Yurts are large, round,
open structures with high ceilings reaching to a large
central skylight. The walls are made from a heavy,
insulated material and supported by a wooden latice.
This yurt sleeps 4-5 people.
Rental Includes:
- Full kitchen with a glass-top
stove, mid-size refrigerator, and coffee makings.
- Wood burning stove with firewood
provided
- King-size bed with goose down
comforter
- Large, antique claw-foot tub
and shower
- Exterior bath house
- Hardwood floors

Lalu Yurt
|
The smaller of our two yurts, this 24
foot yurt is perched on the side of a mountain overlooking
Santa Barbara.
This yurt has a wrap around deck with
amazing views of the mountains, Santa Barbara, the
ocean and Channel Islands! There is a separate bath
house with a medditteranean theme. It has a claw foot
bath tub, a table and chairs, a wood burning stove,
and candles! It is very fun! There is a separate room,
close to the yurt, with flushing toilet.
