Cuauhtemoc Landeros is an authentic Aztec Indian and shares the same name as the last Aztec Emperor Prince.
Cuauhtemoc is just as much at home in a kayak as he is hiking the Gaviota Trail. His vast knowledge
of nature is apparent as he tells guests what plants they can eat, what it will taste like, and
which plants to avoid. You'll want to keep an eye on Cuauhtemoc for at any moment he might
"disappear" as he shimmies up the nearest tree. |

Donna Blackie has enjoyed the great outdoors her
entire life. She loves to share her "love of nature" with all our guests. This love of nature,
combined with Donna's medical background (certified nursing assistant) makes her a perfect fit to
guide Captain Jack's guest's through the Gaviota Coast. Donna was a member of the "Montecito Trails Foundation", and now can't believe she get's paid to have all this fun!

Christopher Villavicencio is a local to Santa Barbara who enjoys the various activities our area has to offer. I have been instilled with a thirst for adventure from a very young age. This love for adventure and travel has taken me across the globe--I have backpacked across Europe, trekked in the rolling countryside hills and mountains of the Ethiopian Highlands, and have also hiked and camped in various National Parks such as Yosemite, Zion, Yellowstone, Bryce, etc. I currently enjoy hiking, rock climbing and bouldering in the Santa Inez mountain range that surrounds Santa Barbara County.
Working for Captain Jack's, I get to share in guest's adventures in our area. My hope for our guests is that they have fun, safe (I am certified in First Aid), and enjoyable experiences while making memories that will last for years to come. |

Bob Westwick is a native of Santa Barbara and has enjoyed all types of water sports since a child. Additionally, I have backpacked many times in the wilderness areas behind Santa Barbara , so I guess you could say I'm a pretty active guy. Now, with Captain Jack's, I can do all of this and also meet many of the wonderful people who are visiting our area in the process.
I very much enjoy playing the role of host to our wonderful city, and as a native of the area I am pleased to offer you restaurant recommendations and suggest other activities you might enjoy while you visit us in Santa Barbara. We want to make sure you enjoy your trip with us and your stay in the area, so anything we can do to assist in that please just ask! I hope to meet you soon on one of our great trips. |

Brendon Hicks Being able to share Santa Barbara by giving land and sea tours is very special. I've ridden horses in Montana , snow skied in Colorado , surfed in Maui , and sky dived over Lake Elsinor . But I always return (home) to Santa Barbara . Check it out Monday: Kayak in the morning with dolphin, ride horseback on a scenic ocean view trail in the afternoon. Tuesday: Kayak with Grey Whales, sea lions, and the beauty of the Santa Barbara Coast. Wednesday: Kayak at Refugio Beach in the morning, then hike up the tunnel trail and soak in a natural hot spring to end the day…WOW! Now that's what I call living! No wonder I keep coming back to Santa Barbara . See you outdoors. |

Marcel Richter My passion for the outdoors, for the ocean, as well as for the beautiful landscape surrounding us, is reflected in the work for Captain Jack.
It is such a great idea to share the moments on the Pacific in the kayaks, or in the Santa Ynez Mountains while hiking, with our motivated and nature-loving customers.
My love for the ocean grew bigger and bigger every year since I was a child, and I am pleased to be your guide for a wonderful day that you will memorize for a long time.
While I enjoy surfing so much on the Central Coast , kayaking is a perfect chance to see the dolphins and sea lions closer and even follow them or watch them play with us.
I invite you to come with us and experience an unforgettable day with Captain Jack's Santa Barbara Tours.
We respect nature and try to do everything to protect it on tours. This goes hand in hand with my university studies of Innovation Research and Sustainable Resource Management. |

Nancy Hofmann I love to be in the nature and doing outdoor sports like mountain biking, hiking and kayaking. Especially kayaking on the ocean is something special I enjoy very much, because you are so close to that element and if you are lucky you see some dolphins and sea lions.
My love for nature, for landscapes, wildlife and, of course, the love for my family and my friends inspires me to take pictures whenever it is possible.
Santa Barbara is really a great place to choose if you are interested in outdoors sports, as well as in delicious food and vine. So come to this lovely place. And if you want to enjoy a tour with us you will explore yourself how beautiful nature and its wildlife can be. |
Captain Jack's Santa Barbara Tours provide our guests with a rainbow of experiences. Captain Jack's most popular tour THE GAVIOTA COAST KAYAK & HIKE TOUR" is the perfect example of this. Your day starts with one of

famous "smuggling" cove by kayak. Lunch at a secluded resort surrounded by sycamore and California
Oak trees including the sound of a nearby stream. The final leg of your tour ends with the most
breathtaking hour and a half of hiking on the central coast. Everything about your day will enlighten,
enhance, and excite the soul. Nothing about this tour needs to be highlighted. God has already done
that. Captain Jack guarantees it.
