Explore the concealed beaches and isolated Gaviota coast by land and by sea. Your day will begin with a beautiful drive up the coast from Santa Barbara to the Gaviota Coast (door to door transportation provided in the
Santa Barbara area).

At Refugio Beach, you'll be outfitted and briefed as to how to kayak and our expert guides will lead you on a sea journey most only dream of.

Not only will you enjoy the sea, sky, and Santa Ynez mountains, chances are good that the locals will show up to greet you. Dolphins, California sea lions, harbor seal, and the migratory Grey Whale may cruise by (in the distance) to say hello.

Next, you'll enjoy lunch at a secluded resort (price of lunch not
included) listening to the soothing sound of a nearby stream. After lunch you will travel 12 miles where your guide will lead you up the Gaviota Tunnel Trail full of ocean vistas, stories of pirates, and even a natural hot spring to soak in. Finally you'll be escorted back to Santa Barbara. Tour pick at 9:00 and returns about 3:30.
